CellarTracker Insights provides personalized insights related to each wine on the CellarTracker database. You can access CellarTracker Insights from any wine details page of the new mobile app by clicking the Insights icon in the lower right corner of the screen.



Available Insights


Will I Like This Wine?

This feature provides insights on how likely you are to like the wine based on:

  • General information about the wine (variety, region, etc.) and flavor profile
    • Not a fan of buttery Chardonnays? Love high acid, high tannin reds? Insights will use your wine preferences to help you decide if you'll like a wine you've never tried
  • Community tasting notes and sentiment
  • Your personal taste from private and public consumption notes and ratings (insights can get more detailed as you create more tasting notes)

Food Pairing

This feature provides food pairing suggestions for any specific wine. Insights include:

  • Expert-backed food pairings based on the wine's characteristics.
  • The stylistic elements of the wine and the food
  • Specific food and wine pairing pitfalls to avoid
  • Example dishes that go well with the specific wine

Using CellarTracker Insights

CellarTracker Insights is available on the new mobile app for all subscribers. Non-subscribers on iOS devices can try the feature using the free 14-day trial.
