Updated Community Average Value

We’re thrilled to announce that our Community Average Value feature has been revamped to deliver even more accurate wine valuations—up to twice as good, in fact!

The algorithm we created for calculating Community Average Value has been updated to bias on recent wine prices. Before the update, particularly for wines that had appreciated significantly over time, our Community Average Value would be low because it factored in all prices over time. We now look at more recent prices to calculate the average while also still rejecting prices greater than two standard deviations away from the mean.
