Tasting note translation
Users often refer to tasting notes for specific bottles and vintages to decide what to buy and drink and at times come across reviews written in different languages. CellarTracker is home of 10M+ tasting notes from wine lovers across the world and our new tasting note translation aims to enhance how users can use CellarTracker to choose and experience wine. Tasting notes also connect users to the community by sharing the excitement and details of the wine among wine lovers drinking similar wines.
Using Translation
You can use translation feature for any tasting notes and reviews on wine details page or activity feed. You will see the “translate” button on the lower right corner of all tasting note reviews. Note that translation is not automatically applied so you can read the reviews in the original language it was written and can always go back and forth by pressing the button.
Selecting language preference
You can set your language preference from you setting under “Display” in the Preferences section. Update “Date & Locale” to your preferred language and once updated, the app will translate any tasting notes to the specified language.
